So here it is... Men should NOT be allowed to stay at home doing nothing for more then two weeks at a time.
Here' s the deal. For the last 13 years my husband has worked outside of the home while I worked in the home. Then last year my husband franchises his company. Sounds Great right? His long hours out of the house in the evenings are a thing of the past. He can now spend more time with the kids, do things with us on the weekends. It's all sounding very nice isn't?
Now fast forward a year later. Ladies he's driving me NUTS!!!!!! Because I am at home all day I really need that time each day when Larkyn is napping or having quite time and I can just be left alone... It never fails as soon as the my quite time arrives more often then not, there he is.. just looming around... Going on my computer, talking on the phone, or WORSE he wants to talk to me!!!!! He now is getting into some of my shows that I PVR on the TV.. To make it worse he doesn't just sit beside me watching it,, he manages to sit in front of me in the hopes I will rub his back.
No wonder I've put on 15lb's... am feeling stressed to max.. Most days I find myself trying to find a place in the house were NO one will find me.
I truly love my husband of 16 years but I can't have him just hanging around.
There does seem to be a light at the end of the tunnel. He's had a few days in the last two weeks were he's actually been working out of the house, a sign that GOD truly does answer ones prayers.
As I type this Post he's downstairs working in his office.. But since he's been home this afternoon he's put things on the counter that I just cleaned, he's left the garage door open AGAIN,,, I don't even want to get into what he did to the toilet upstairs!!! After typing this Larkyn will be having a nap.. and you know WHO will suddenly appear from his office ... HE MIGHT EVEN SUGGEST WE GO UPSTAIRS FOR SOME CUDDLE TIME!!!!!
I know some of you ladies who read my blog might give me some flak about this Post, I do have a wonderful husband. He spoils me and treats me with kindness often. I just wish he would do all those things after he's been out of the house all day!!!!!
I am such a terrible person!!!!!

Some This and That
Reegan and Larkyn on St Patricks Day. Larkyn LOVED wearing the headband with the shamrocks on them. Reegan's class made Leprechaun traps in the hopes of catching one. Once again there attempt to catch a Leprechaun failed !!!
We are still not going on the potty yet... I decided to start to put her in Dora pull-ups it's a start and she loves the Dora on them as well she can almost pull them up herself.

Thank's Lite 96
So I am sitting in my car one morning listening to Lite 96 while I wait for Ryker's school bus, and once again I hear the Jet go and hear another lucky person win a trip for two to Mexico.

Bye Bye Baby Bed
Larkyn has been sleeping now an entire week in her new bed. I decided to child proof her door from the inside so she wouldn't be able to get out of her room and walk around. She doesn't have naps everyday but she always goes into her room to have some quite time, she's very cute after we read a book in the afternoon she waves good-bye and tells me to leave because it's her quite time to play... A few times I have gone into her room to check on her and this is what I find.

Stephen Langman His Progess So Far
February 16, 2009
Dear Friends;
It has been 2 weeks since Steve had his last hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) and many of you have been anxiously waiting to hear how it went. Having so many of you asking us how it went makes us realize how many of you care for us. It is really a good feeling for us as we feel so loved and supported.
The therapy was quite expensive but we felt it was worth it. I noticed a difference in him on the very first day of treatments. We were driving back to our friend’s house at the end of the day and Steve seemed so alert and chatty. He normally isn’t talkative and will only say something if he needs to. Our conversations usually end quickly with his, “yes, no, I don’t know” answers but this time he was contributing to the conversation and even initiating it. This was exciting for me because our relationship has been a concern to me. It is hard to work at a relationship when communication is strained. At the time of day that we were driving home, he should have been very tired since he hadn’t had a nap. His speech is usually slurred and his face drooping when he doesn’t nap but he wasn’t like that.
I figured that his condition would be like that just on the days that he had therapy so I was watching closely when he returned after the second week of HBOT. He still needs to have quiet time on most days but I noticed that he isn’t as tired. Less fatigue has so many benefits. His speech is better, he doesn’t get confused very often and he is able to cope with our daily life much better. That last point has been the best one since we have a full and busy household and it is hard to keep everything running smoothly and calmly all the time.
I wondered how he would be away from his routine but he immediately took to his new routine and seemed to enjoy the time in the chamber. I was able to go in with him and we would play chess. Or should I say, he would beat me at chess! After the morning session we would eat lunch at the Bedrock Diner across the road and then head to the mall to get some exercise and a strawberry milkshake until it was time for his afternoon session. It was a nice time for Steve and me to be together with out the kids. It was like a little vacation for us that was long overdue.
I was only with him a few days of each week while family and friends filled in the rest of the days. It was a bit of a holiday for us back home as well as we could run around and make noise without worrying about how Daddy was coping.
We only did 2 weeks of HBOT which is half the recommended number of treatments. We weren’t sure if it would do anything but we knew that it wasn’t going to hurt him so we gave it a try. We would like to do the full treatment schedule at another time, perhaps in the spring.
For those of you working on your prayer lists you could pray for Steve’s emotional healing as well as his physical healing. I know it is going to be a long road and in many different stages. Some days are just harder than others.
Will has recovered fine from the inhaled blow dart incident. No infection in his trachea. I think that whole incident may have taught him a few things. Not to use homemade blow darts is hopefully one thing he learned! It also helped to put him in his Dad’s shoes in a small way. I also think it helped him to understand why I had to be by his Dad’s side when he was hospitalized. All little steps to healing for all of us.
In His Grace,
Donna Langman

Who Would Have Thought It Would Take A Vampire To Get Me To Read A Romance Novel
While I was away in Mexico I took along two books to read. I truly didn't think I would get through both of them, but I did. So as I sat at the airport waiting to board our plane home, I figured I would take a look in the book store I had a five hour flight ahead of me, something to read would be nice. The book store really didn't have much to choose from, the only book that looked the least bit interesting to me with this book called Twilight. I new a bit about this book, on a number of occasions while at Chapters I had even picked it up to see if I wanted to purchase it. I briefly remember seeing the trailer of the movie one Friday night while I was out with David. But honestly the whole vampire thing really didn't interest me that much.
So here I was staring at this book again, I had a five hour flight to sit through and I knew that David would most likely sleep most of the way... so what the heck I purchased it.
I am not sure what super powers the Author Stephenie Meyer's has but by the end of our flight I was SO into this book it was all I could do to stop reading and get off the plane. The next three days I eat, cleaned and looked after the kids just waiting for the next free moment when I could once again enter Bella's world with Edward. I was found cooking dinner with the book in my hands, staying up till well after midnight to get one more chapter finished and my PVR recordings were piling up each day. My poor husband soon learned NOT to disturb me if he saw me curled up in the living room chair with this book in my hands. I was totally lost to everything around me while I read this book.
This weekend I finally finished the fourth and final book. I can't begin to tell you how much I enjoyed these stories. I will say one thing it takes an extremely talented writer to make a fictitious creature like a vampire into a young girls prince charming.

Mac Vs PC
In the not too distant future I will be needing a new laptop. I have only worked on PC's and windows etc., But I would very much like to really look at the possibility of a Mac. Many things that drive me nuts about my PC, Mac owners tell me a Mac would solve those problems. I've also heard that it takes some time to adjust to a Mac if all your used to is a PC.
So I am putting it out there to my fellow bloggers, I am sure some of you are Mac owner's. What are the pros and con's? What do you Love about your Mac???
Please let me know!!!!!

Home Safe And Sound
Once again David parents did a great job loving and looking after our children. I think the kids tired them out this time and I am not sure if in the future they will be up for a week long task of looking after them. They truly are wonderful People!!!
Ryker was happy to see us, Reegan was all hugs and kisses the next morning when she woke up. Our wee Larkyn was just getting a cold the night we arrived home and since then has been running a pretty good fever. Yesterday was a tense day, because when she woke up her diaper was as dry as a bone and remained that way until nap time. She was refusing anything we offered her. Finally we managed to get some pop down her and finally a good wet diaper. Today she's still not great but she's drinking and eating better. She's been up off and on in the night since we got home "There's goes all the sleep I managed to get caught up on while in Mexico?!?!?!"
