Some of You Ladies May Be Able To Relate

So here it is... Men should NOT be allowed to stay at home doing nothing for more then two weeks at a time.

Here' s the deal. For the last 13 years my husband has worked outside of the home while I worked in the home. Then last year my husband franchises his company. Sounds Great right? His long hours out of the house in the evenings are a thing of the past. He can now spend more time with the kids, do things with us on the weekends. It's all sounding very nice isn't?

Now fast forward a year later. Ladies he's driving me NUTS!!!!!! Because I am at home all day I really need that time each day when Larkyn is napping or having quite time and I can just be left alone... It never fails as soon as the my quite time arrives more often then not, there he is.. just looming around... Going on my computer, talking on the phone, or WORSE he wants to talk to me!!!!! He now is getting into some of my shows that I PVR on the TV.. To make it worse he doesn't just sit beside me watching it,, he manages to sit in front of me in the hopes I will rub his back.

No wonder I've put on 15lb's... am feeling stressed to max.. Most days I find myself trying to find a place in the house were NO one will find me.

I truly love my husband of 16 years but I can't have him just hanging around.

There does seem to be a light at the end of the tunnel. He's had a few days in the last two weeks were he's actually been working out of the house, a sign that GOD truly does answer ones prayers.

As I type this Post he's downstairs working in his office.. But since he's been home this afternoon he's put things on the counter that I just cleaned, he's left the garage door open AGAIN,,, I don't even want to get into what he did to the toilet upstairs!!! After typing this Larkyn will be having a nap.. and you know WHO will suddenly appear from his office ... HE MIGHT EVEN SUGGEST WE GO UPSTAIRS FOR SOME CUDDLE TIME!!!!!

I know some of you ladies who read my blog might give me some flak about this Post, I do have a wonderful husband. He spoils me and treats me with kindness often. I just wish he would do all those things after he's been out of the house all day!!!!!

I am such a terrible person!!!!!

Some This and That

Reegan and Larkyn on St Patricks Day. Larkyn LOVED wearing the headband with the shamrocks on them. Reegan's class made Leprechaun traps in the hopes of catching one. Once again there attempt to catch a Leprechaun failed !!!

We are still not going on the potty yet... I decided to start to put her in Dora pull-ups it's a start and she loves the Dora on them as well she can almost pull them up herself.

Thank's Lite 96

So I am sitting in my car one morning listening to Lite 96 while I wait for Ryker's school bus, and once again I hear the Jet go and hear another lucky person win a trip for two to Mexico.

As I am hearing this I realize all this person did to win a trip was pick up the phone... There must be a catch to this,,, it can't be that simple,, so I listen a little longer and there it is "the catch".. the strings to winning these wonderful prizes... "YOU HAVE TO BE A VIP PLATINUM MEMBER" I knew it!!!! I knew it... The radio host tell us all you have to do is to go to Lite 96 web site and join,, and the prizes will just fall into your lap. Who are they trying to kid!!! "I was not born yesterday!!!"

After what seemed like forever "actually two minutes on there web page" I was an official VIP Member.

Fast forward a month later... I am sitting at Centini's Restaurant with five guest of my choosing and Joanne & The Coach the radio hosts I listen to each morning, dining on some of the best food I have tasted in years.

But lets not stop there... at this lunch they have a draw... Yup you guested it my husband won two tickets to see Diana Krall next month. Life can be an amazing, and today was one of those days!!

All of this just because I joined the VIP Platinum Club!!!!

Bye Bye Baby Bed

It's bitter sweet when the day comes and you have to say good-bye to the crib. On one hand Larkyn is growing up,,, she's a big girl... But on the other hand the bed that has kept her safe and sound for over a year no longer is around to keep her in the bedroom. (SHE FREE!!!)

Larkyn has been sleeping now an entire week in her new bed. I decided to child proof her door from the inside so she wouldn't be able to get out of her room and walk around. She doesn't have naps everyday but she always goes into her room to have some quite time, she's very cute after we read a book in the afternoon she waves good-bye and tells me to leave because it's her quite time to play... A few times I have gone into her room to check on her and this is what I find.
